Linking your EA Account to your platform profiles, like your Xbox gamertag, PlayStation™Network Online ID, Nintendo Switch Account, or Stadia Account lets you get online to play our games and save your progress. That means if you do end up deciding to unlink your persona from one account to link it to another, you’ll lose your game progress. You can unlink your platform accounts from your EA Account if you want to link them to a different EA Account, as long as your EA Account has never had the same account type linked to it before.Īll your EA game progress is linked to your EA Account, not your platform account. If you made your EA Account using the same email address you use for your platform-specific account, load any EA game on your Xbox, PlayStation®, Switch, or Google Stadia and your accounts should automatically connect. Sub-accounts that share Xbox Live Gold or PlayStation®Plus won’t be able to connect to EA Accounts to play online. We suggest choosing your preferred accounts when you link them together. ![]() If you already have multiple platform accounts linked to an EA Account, they’ll stay linked, but you won’t be able to add more. If you try to link additional accounts, you’ll get a message that says Linked accounts found. Instead, you’ll need to create a new EA Account to link to your additional platform accounts. This means that you can’t link an EA Account to two PlayStation™Network IDs, for example.
